Shopping Experience Gone Bad

I'm very, very tired but I felt the need to post.
I went shopping today at Macy's on 34th Street and it started out pretty good but it all went downhill when I tried on a few dresses.
I was cruising the Juniors' section and I spotted some fabulous items (especially from Material Girl and American Rag) that I wished to see in my closet at some point in life. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case since I had to buy an outfit or a new pair of shoes for my best friend's Quinceanera. The bad part wasn't that I had to buy nice clothes for my friend's party; the bad part was that I had to look through racks and racks of dresses that were in the prom section. It was a total nightmare. There were dresses of all kinds that weren't even that pretty. In the end, I miraculously found a few that I liked and took them to the fitting room.
This is when I entered hell. I tried on the dresses and they were either small, big, or unapproved by my mom. At this point in time I was craving some Ben & Jerry's ice cream but we continued looking for the perfect dress. We entered the woman's section at Macy's and found some nice Calvin Klein dresses. I was too tired to try them on and the price was a bit too much for my mom. Finally, we gave up on the dresses and walked towards the shoe department.
To sum it up, I found these really cute shoes but left devastated after the sales manager failed to bring me my size 7. I never found out whether she'd brought them or not because I left, feeling both angry and hungry; we'd spent four hours at Macy's to then leave the store empty-handed.
It wasn't until two hours later that we finally ate some delicious food due to the fact that I was forced to enter more shoe stores. Thank goodness I had bought a double chocolate brownie and Naked OJ from Starbucks.
The return home was pretty bad since I had a massive headache (and still do). It feels good to finally be able to sit in my pj's and hoodie and relieve my frustration through this blog post. I'm a survivor.
